PWC accepts international volunteers with the right skills and enthusiasm to support our work with vulnerable pastoralist woman and children. As a small local NGO we do not have the funds to cover volunteers costs. However, we provide recommendations as to where volunteers can find secure, safe and affordable accommodation and our staff provide support during their stay.
Our volunteers work to build the capacity of local staff, and as such all roles are office based. While you will have an induction trip to some of our project sites, international volunteers do not work directly with communities as they do not possess the required language skills and experience within these specific communities.

Cloud-Based Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) System Consultant
Pastoral Women’s Council is seeking a skilled and experienced consultant, consulting firm, or team to design and develop a secure, cloud-based Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) system.
This role will support the development of a modern digital platform to strengthen data management, project monitoring, reporting, and learning across all PWC programmes.
The system will include beneficiary and membership databases, dashboards, offline and online data collection, data migration, and integration with existing tools to improve results-based management and decision-making.
Location: Arusha, Tanzania (with collaboration across PWC programme areas)

Videographer / Documentary Filmmaker for Indigenous Women-Led Climate Knowledge & Land Stewardship — Ngorongoro, Tanzania
Pastoral Women’s Council (PWC) is seeking an experienced Videographer / Documentary Filmmaker to document Indigenous women-led climate knowledge and land stewardship dialogues in Ngorongoro District. The assignment includes filming 3 community dialogue sessions, producing a 15-minute documentary, and creating three short social media videos highlighting traditional climate knowledge, grazing practices, and environmental stewardship.
This is a unique opportunity to work alongside Indigenous women elders, youth, and community leaders to create a community-owned documentary that preserves and amplifies local knowledge and voices.
Location: Ngorongoro District, Tanzania (travel to all three field sessions required)
