Emanyata Secondary School has a capacity of 400 students attending lower secondary school and runs a three month pre form one course. Most of the students we admit to pre form one are academically able but disadvantaged Maasai girls. These carefully selected students know that boarding at Emanyata is their only hope of escaping forced marriage and early pregnancy. However, with annual school fees and expenses of around $530 per student, many of these vulnerable girls will not be able to start school without securing a scholarship.

We are seeking donations to our scholarship fund through our fantastic partner omprakash. Your generous donation will not only help pay for board, lodging and a high quality education, but demonstrate your commitment to helping Maasai women and girls create a society where they are independent, equal partners to men.

Just $530 covers the full cost of a disadvantaged girls school fees, books and uniform for one year at the top performing Emanyata Secondary School, giving her a future and assisting her to escape forced marriage and early pregnancy. Your donation will be used to sponsor a pastoralist girl who is identified as academically bright but whose family is not able or willing to support her continued education.
