Establish and Strengthen VICOBA Groups:

  • Establish 400 new functioning VICOBA groups in three districts by 2024.

  • Enable 200 groups (5,000 people) to access financial services from Engishon Fund Ltd in Longido and Ngorongoro districts by 2024.

  • Equip 1,000 PWC members with entrepreneurship skills for practice within VICOBA groups by 2024.

  • Ensure 60% of group members have profitable climate-smart businesses by 2024.

  • Include 15% of PWC members in value chains and skills to add value to products by 2024.

Enhance Integration of Young Pastoralist Women into Labor and Business Markets:

  • Reach 200 more beneficiaries with the Energize model in Ngorongoro and Longido districts by 2024.

  • Establish a sustainable grassroots Training and Leadership Centre in Arusha by 2024.

Improve Literacy of Women in Economic Empowerment Activities:

  • Have 2,000 functionally literate women participating in economic activities in Ngorongoro and Longido districts by 2024.

Establish and Strengthen Women’s Solidarity Bomas:

  • Have PWC members manage 6 functioning WSBs in Longido and Ngorongoro districts by 2024.

  • Enable 400 PWC members to benefit from revolving livestock through WSBs by 2024.

The second goal centers on uplifting pastoralist women economically, fostering financial independence, improving access to resources, and enabling women to contribute more effectively to their families and communities.
